This client wanted a firepit area as well as a solution for a shaded area of the yard.  They were looking for  a more natural look to expand an existing brick paver patio.  We used slate for the firepit patio and small boulders instead of brick pavers for the firepit.  Since the grass was not growing under the heavily wooded yard, gravel paths were installed.  We used coordinating boulders as a natural edging for the paths.
